Pursue new growth and learning every day sharing love freely through new experiences in a healthy, balanced way.

What is the Natural Learning Model?
Learning, real authentic learning, doesn’t fit neatly into little boxes. You can’t track with checklists or rubrics. It’s elusive, yet you know it when you see it. It’s a combination of logic and emotion that changes your very being.

The Goal of Learning
The goal of learning must be directly linked to the purpose for being alive, or it makes no sense.

The Intention of Change
I used to say that the only thing consistent is change. To be honest, I didn’t understand what it meant fully. If change is your constant, it changes everything about your perception.

Choosing to Thrive
We’ve all been in situations that required us to survive, to put one foot in front of the other and just keep walking.

Instructional Design is a Service

What is Instructional Design?

What is Frame of Reference?

Determine Your Frame of Reference
Our frame of reference is based on a combination of our experiences and our responses to those experiences. Whether you intentionally select your responses or not, they impact how you perceive everything.

The Importance of Timing
Timing is important. It’s a simple phrase, and we all realize it’s true. However, implementing and practically applying this concept can be challenging.

Fear, Hidden Emotional Quicksand
Fear is elusive because we have become so accustomed to the state of fear that we don’t recognize it for what it is, and that it is driving our decision-making process despite our best intentions.

Good Fences Make Good Neighbors, Compound Barbed Wire Leads to Mistrust
It is prudent to have a fence to protect intellectual property, resources, and assets. It’s reasonable to require references for new hires and background checks, depending on the industry. However, the compound barbed wire version of organizational security comes into effect when you make decisions out of fear, not balance.
