This lesson studio policy is intended as a general guideline for clarity between the lesson teacher and students. It is not all inclusive and may be adjusted based on agreement of both parties. In general, be kind and we’ll get along great.
Schedule
During the school year, lessons are scheduled from 4:30 to 7, Monday through Thursday and Friday 2:30-6. Out of respect for the teacher’s time, we will try to block lessons together as much as possible. Additionally, it is recommended that you select a time that will work for you on most weeks. Although there will always be scheduling conflicts and emergencies, a consistent schedule helps both the teacher and student.
Lessons may be scheduled through the booking form on the website, text message to the teacher directly or email.
Payments
Payments are required at the time of service (or before). Lessons may be paid in cash, check, zelle or through the website. Students may select whether to pay a lesson at a time, biweekly or monthly.
Missed Lessons
Out of respect for both the teachers and students time, if a lesson will be missed, notice should be given at least 2 hours in advance. It is understood that unavoidable emergencies do arise and these will be addressed on a case by case basis. If a student misses consistently, especially without notice, they may be removed from the schedule to offer availability to a student on the wait list.
Ending Lessons
All good things come to an end at some point. If you would like to discontinue lessons, the teacher will need a week’s notice. There will be no refunds for previously paid lessons and no cancellation fees.
If there is a spot available, a student who has discontinued lessons may return at any time. However, the same time slot is not guaranteed.
