Learning Experience: Sharing Knowledge Effectively
If the purpose of human existence is to grow in spirit through experience, reflection, and choice, then learning must directly reflect this overall purpose through the development of intentional learning experiences.

The Story Behind the Model
As a teacher, I have always searched for a more effective way to help students reach the “ah-ha” moment faster with less effort. To explain concepts unconventionally by linking content to the world as my students see it. Sometimes, I’ve been successful. Sometimes, I haven’t. Through this struggle, I noticed that the basic fundamental principles we take for granted in learning may not be the most effective path forward.
I considered how I have learned the greatest lessons in my life and came to the startling conclusion that most of what I know was learned not through classes or lessons but through rolling up my sleeves and jumping into the experience of life itself. I attempted to map how I had learned things in real life outside of my academic programs. For ease of simplicity, I linearly mapped this process. However, it’s not linear; it is closer to cyclical. Natural learning is a collection of steps that seem rearranged in variant fashions depending on the circumstances.
Pursue new growth and learning every day sharing love freely through new experiences in a healthy, balanced way.

Learning, real authentic learning, doesn’t fit neatly into little boxes. You can’t track with checklists or rubrics. It’s elusive, yet you know it when you see it. It’s a combination of logic and emotion that changes your very being.

The goal of learning must be directly linked to the purpose for being alive, or it makes no sense.

I used to say that the only thing consistent is change. To be honest, I didn’t understand what it meant fully. If change is your constant, it changes everything about your perception.

We’ve all been in situations that required us to survive, to put one foot in front of the other and just keep walking.
So how do we move past both of these forms of surviving to thriving?
